Energise your winter with a complimentary Winter Wellness Coaching Session, by attending a yoga class with me in July 2024 using a Class Pass. Help yourself to make the most of your winter in 2024!

Wellness coaching involves having a personalised, proactive, holistic approach to living that allows you to flourish and to reach your potential.

Wellness is an integration of physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Beyond just surviving or tackling problems, wellness is about thriving.

In your Winter Wellness Coaching Session you will receive personalised guidance, inspiration and practical strategies to:

  • Understand the nature of stress and how to be proactive verses reactive;
  • Build a daily routine that optimises your wellness;
  • Prioritise your physical, mental and emotional health needs;
  • Strengthen your spirituality and self-determination; and
  • Take action steps to design a healthier, happier and more fulfilled life.

For attending a session, you will also receive a Breath Awareness Meditation recording, to access and practice in your own time over the winter.

Winter wellness and yoga

According to the philosophy of Yoga, the winter season can heighten our attachment (raga) and aversion (dvesha) natural human impulses, creating imbalance. This means that we want to control what we cannot control and/or cling to what we like – think complaining about the weather and over-indulging in creature comforts!

For these reasons, winter is a time to stay extra mindful of our mental attitude, our everyday habits and our energy levels.

Winter is a time to balance movement with stillness, with an emphasis on rest and mindful introspection. Physically in winter, our bodies need time to recover from the past several months of activity.

Yoga postures (asana) that focus on building strength, especially around the joints, with shorter bursts of movement like sun salutations, accompanied by slower restorative yoga postures and a longer relaxation pose (savasana) for integration, is an ideal approach.

How to access your session

To be eligible for your Winter Wellness Coaching Session, simply make sure you have a current 10 Class Pass or New Student Unlimited Classes Month Pass – you are eligible for the unlimited classes pass if you haven’t been to a class for 12+ months. Then attend a yoga class with me before 31 July. There is one coaching session offered per person.
