Whether your baby is 6 weeks or 10 months old, join Kristen for some grounding and uplifting yoga in our peaceful space, that gives you quality time-out with your baby.
Early motherhood can feel like a struggle at times, as we juggle self-care with responsibilities to our partner, family and perhaps also work. And especially when coming to terms with your body, mind and emotions after the journey of pregnancy and birth. Tremendous changes happen on many levels.
We understand the fatigue, demands, self-doubts and dilemmas that come with wanting to be the best Mum that you can be. And we're here to help!
Through our specialised approach to yoga for Mums and Bubs, we show you how to reconnect with and to feel good in your body, 'just as it is'. And be able to cherish your days of early motherhood and all the special experiences it offers.
The Benefits for You
Our Mums and Bubs Yoga will help you to:
- Mindfully and safely reconnect with your body through uplifting, strengthening and relaxing yoga postures;
- Feel inspired, healthier and more confident in your body, mind and emotions;
- Relieve aching shoulders and neck tension;
- Learn calming, connective mother-to-baby breathing and mantras;
- Address and ease physical changes - like toning of the pelvic floor, sacroiliac instability and abdominal separation;
- Receive deep relaxation and rejuvenation for your nervous system and;
- Ease motherhood anxiety and stress - and learn take-home skills.
Our classes are suitable both for women new to yoga as well as more experienced yoga practitioners.
With Kristen's practical guidance as a specialised pre and post-natal yoga teacher and Mum, you will get to share in a community of like-minded mothers, to swap stories and support one-another.
Bring along anything that you need for your baby to sleep and be comfortable - a pram, rug, toys, bottle - you'll be able to feed, nappy-change,
interact and settle your baby as often as you need to during class. We welcome babies from newborn up to around one year (walking stage).
We invite you to stay for a cuppa and a chat with us afterwards at our lovely Alfred Cove Village neighbourhood cafe Lily and the Angel !
Mums and Bubs yoga is a wonderful experience to share with a friend or family member who also has a baby - and by booking two places you also save yourselves $20.

Pre-paid bookings are required for the term or pay-s-you-go on a casual basis. We run with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 places for the term. If
the term needs to be cancelled due to insufficent numbers, you will be refunded.
