Mindful Relationships Course

Discover how to cultivate and enjoy a more conscious, loving and empowering, life-long relationship with yourself and your significant other(s).

Love is like a mirror. Loving others starts with loving ourselves. But how do we really do this?

This six week course combines mindfulness meditations along with transformational relationship coaching activities, based on the Five A's of mindful relating: attention, acceptance, appreciation, affection and allowing.

Inspired by the work of US psychotherapist and spiritual teacher David Richo, and integrated with her own spiritual growth, relationship and coaching experience over 12 years, Natalie (pictured below) created this course as a conscious response to counter the unconscious, unhelpful ways we show-up and limit ourselves in love. 

Natalie is committed to honouring the depths of who we are, as well as sharing practical skills and steps that help us to overcome the everyday challenges that our most intimate relationships present.

Course Content & Benefits

This course is content-rich and includes weekly take-home notes and activities. It offers each participant the opportunity to: 

  • Understand yourself and how your relationship patterns develop and hold you back;
  • Become more courageous and open-hearted towards yourself and those you love;
  • Adopt and implement the Five A's as a pathway of transformation in your relationships;
  • Learn the value of mindful pausing as a central practice;
  • Practice themed, guided mindfulness meditations (with recordings to use at home); and
  • Honour the mystery and magic of love.

In a safe, supportive group, week-by-week we will unpack, explore and apply the Five A's of mindful relating:

1.  Attention ~ paying genuine attention to our own needs, as well as to the needs of others; 
2.  Acceptance ~ accepting ourselves, and others, as we/they really are;
3.  Appreciation ~ valuing and cherishing ourselves (and others) and believing that we/they are worthwhile; 
4.  Affection ~ showing ourselves (and others) physical as well as non-sexual affection; and
5.  Allowing ~ allowing ourselves (and others) to make choices, grow and move-on, in the course of life.

Course Pre-Requisites

This course is open to all adult (18+) men, women, singles and couples of all ages, with or without prior meditation experience. Couples who do the course together will greatly benefit from the joint learning.

To get the most out of the course, each participant should come with a sincere willingness to learn new ways of thinking and behaving, to share and to allocate a few hours each week to reflect and practice with the weekly activities and guided meditations at home.

This course is highly recommended for those who have already completed Momentum's Foundations of Meditation & Mindfulness Course or who have an existing mindfulness, meditation and/or yoga practice.

Booking Details

Places on the course are limited to 16 people. 

Once you have completed and paid for the course, you will receive an emailed receipt to confirm your registration. Then the day before the course starts, you'll receive a reminder email with the details you need to know.

Cost:       $170 per person / $320 per couple
