Ceremony of the Divine Feminine ~ FREE Community Event

with Natalie Snooke and special guest, Meta Doherty

Sunday 29 August

You are invited to join us for a beautiful yogic ceremony of blessings, meditation, movement and mantra to celebrate and evoke the Divine Feminine in yourself and at Momentum.

The Divine Feminine embodies the nurturer, the healer and the compassionate peacemaker in each of us. It is greatly needed in these times.

In all women, our greatest strength lies in our innate motherhood, in our creative, life-giving power - and in our feminine capacity to live and lead with empathy, love and compassion.

About Amma

Amma (pictured above) is known as the Hugging Saint of India and also the Divine Mother.

Amma is considered to be the living embodiment of Divine Feminine energy, bestowing compassion, grace and unconditional love upon all who come to be in her presence. When she holds someone it can help to awaken the dormant spiritual energy within them. The healing power of selfless love is astonishing - as anyone who hugs or meets Amma will attest.

For these reasons, we have chosen to install Amma's uplifting image on our studio walls in a ceremonial offering - in between the existing images of the great male yogis Ramana Maharshi and Krishnamacharya - as a way of evoking more of the Divine Feminine energy into our yogic practice, hearts and lives.

Our special guest is Meta Doherty, senior yoga teacher and Amma devotee. Meta will lead us in simple, empowering and beautiful yogic practices that are given by Amma to help empower the Divine Feminine energy within us.
